Welcome to our gym orientation! We are excited to have you here and help you learn about our new equipment During this orientation, we will provide you with a comprehensive overview of all the equipment available and guide you on how to use them effectively and safely.
No matter your ability or experience at the Y you'll find the support you need to push yourself to the next level and achieve your health goals.
Susie is currently a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor at the YMCA.
She has over 25 years of experience and is a former NPC Bodybuilding competitor. She placed first in Women’s Bodybuilding Lightweight Division 4 times. Susie has completed multiple marathons, half marathons, 10K and 5K races over the years. She also participated in many other activities to included cheer, gymnastics and dance.
Her focus now is to help others improve their quality of life by becoming healthier. Personal training allows her to help clients reach their goals. Individual goals vary from weight loss, building muscle, improving balance and mobility, toning, etc. She believes there is always something you can do to improve your health.

We do not care so much about having showy muscles, although that is a nice side benefit. By doing strength and cardio training throughout the year, when it comes time to do yard work, I can weed eat as much as I need to without getting too tired or being sore the next day. It just makes it easier to do things you need to do in your everyday life. I highly recommend it to keep you motivated.
