Choosing child care is a big decision. At the Limestone Family YMCA’s Learn & Play Enrichment Center, we provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment where children can learn new skills, build friendships, explore their world, and grow with confidence.
Our goal is more than providing care—we want every child to feel welcomed, supported, and excited to come to the Y each day.

CARE FOR EVERY STAGE
Our Learn & Play Enrichment Center offers care for children from infancy through preschool.
INFANTS
6 weeks–12 months
1:5 staff-to-child ratio
A nurturing environment focused on your baby's individual needs, development, and daily routines.
TODDLERS
12–24 months
1:6 staff-to-child ratio
Opportunities for exploration, movement, socialization, and developing independence.
TWOS
24–36 months
1:10 staff-to-child ratio
Hands-on activities and play experiences designed to encourage curiosity, communication, and growing independence.
PRESCHOOL 3S
3–4 years
1:12 staff-to-child ratio
Age-appropriate learning, creativity, social development, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play.
PRE-K
4–5 years
1:15 staff-to-child ratio
Experiences that help children build confidence, independence, social skills, and school-readiness skills.
A DAY AT LEARN & PLAY
Every day brings opportunities to learn something new.
Children may participate in:
- Creative and hands-on activities

- Rest and quiet time
- Classroom routines that build independence
- Opportunities to explore and make friends
We believe childhood should include plenty of opportunities to learn, play, discover, and simply be a kid.
HEALTHY DAYS START HERE
We know that children need more than activities to have a great day.
Our program provides breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Families may also pack a lunch as long as it meets USDA healthy food guidelines. Allergy modifications may be available.
Toddlers through preschool-age children have a daily rest period from 12:00–2:00 p.m.
STAY CONNECTED THROUGHOUT THE DAY
We know how hard it can be to be away from your child.
That's why our classrooms use Brightwheel for classroom communication, messages, reminders, and updates.
Brightwheel gives families another way to stay connected with their child's teachers and daily experience.
CONVENIENT HOURS FOR FAMILIES
MONDAY- FRIDAY
6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Drop-off is available from 6:00–9:00 a.m. If you expect to arrive after 9:00 a.m., families should notify the director or their child's teacher by 8:30 a.m.
Closed for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve. These days are not prorated unless a week's vacation is used with notice. Staff will also observe several in-service days to participate in state-mandated training.
Parents will be given ample notice of these days.
TUITION & FEES
Program Ratio. Ages. Tuition
Infant 1:5 Ratio 6 weeks- 12 months. $135 per week
Toddler. 1:6 Ratio. 12 months - 24 months. $135 per week
Twos 1:10 Ratio. 24 months - 36 months. $130 per week
Preschool 3s 1:12 Ratio. 3 years - 4 years $130 per week
Pre-K 1:15 Ratio. 4 years - 5 years $130 per week
Registration Fee: $30
Annual Re-Enrollment Fee: $30
Tuition is drafted weekly at the end of the week from a bank account or automatically charged to a credit card. A valid payment method must be on file.

Our drop-off time is from 6:00 am-9:00 am. If you are going to be later than 9:00 am you will need to notify the director or your child’s teacher no later than 8:30 am. Pick-up typically begins around 3:00 pm, however you may pick your child up at any time, we just ask that you let us know if it will be during naptime.
12:00 pm-2:00 pm for toddlers-pre school. Naps are not required to be taken by children, however, children are encouraged to lie quietly on their cots at this time.
Yes. We serve them breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Each classroom may also serve small snacks throughout the day that have been donated by parents. Packing your child’s lunch is an option, however it still needs to meet our USDA healthy food guidelines. Allergy modifications may also be made.
Yes, the YMCA offers assistance through a program called “PACE”, more info on that can be found at the main YMCA. We also accept childcare subsidies through the state.
Yes. Each classroom uses an app called “Brightwheel” for classroom messages, direct contact with parents, and daily reminders. You may use this to message your child’s teacher to check in on them. Please keep in mind that staff are not always able to respond right away, as phone usage is limited, but they will get back to you as soon as they are available.
